Description from the seller

Item Description
A set of two incense burners in the style of ancient Chinese ritual bronzes, finished in a dark green patina. One is a tall, flared beaker form in the manner of a gu. The other is a compact, rounded lidded jar with a pointed finial and a serrated-flange lid. Both are covered in dense relief decoration of archaic taotie and geometric scroll motifs, with notched flanges on the body and base. The bottom of the lidded burner is marked with the Sumitomo Bank logo, "Sumitomo Bank" and "Heisei 7" (1995), plus a seal mark. The larger piece carries the Sumitomo logo and a seal mark on its base. Together they make an attractive pair for collectors of Japanese metalwork and archaic-style bronzes.

Size
Larger piece:
Height: 10.5 cm
Width: 9 cm
Depth: 9 cm

Weight
945 g (both pieces combined)

Condition
Overall good, with light surface wear, minor scratches and an uneven patina consistent with age. No major damage is visible in the photographs, and the lid of the jar seats properly. Please review all photographs carefully.

The item will be carefully packaged and shipped by Japan Post or DHL, depending on the situation.

Due to the changes to the EU tax-free (VAT) system, Japan Post has become unable to ship certain goods valued at €150 or less to an increasing number of European countries. Depending on the destination and circumstances, the shipping method may therefore be changed from Japan Post to DHL.

Delivery normally takes approximately 3 weeks, or up to 3 months if the item is shipped by sea.
