**Detailed description:**
I am auctioning the most iconic gas lighter of the S.T. Dupont house: the Ligne 2 model. Recognizable among all for its perfect proportions (62 mm tall) and the famous characteristic "clink" when opening the cap, it is clad in silver plating with a guilloché vertical line decor.

**History and detailed condition:**
Bought new in 2002 (invoice and original box not kept). This lighter has been used regularly and shows an evident wear patina:

**Aesthetics:**
Micro-scratches from handling on the smooth surfaces and the presence of a micro impact on the rear right edge of the body and on the edge of the cap (visible in photos). The silver plate maintains a very nice overall shine.

**Functioning:**
Currently "empty of gas". The hinge, the opening mechanism remain perfectly aligned and the flint wheel functions normally. The lighter is fully functional.
