The undulating shapes of his compositions arise from compression on the mark across the entire image, shaping a stylistic interpretation.
It is a concentrated exploration of the ebb and flow of volumes, where the image appears wavy, but in reality it is pressed, compressed indeed!
Figuratively speaking: the contemporary man floats in his actions and implodes in the behaviors of his becoming.
Brief biography:
Vincenzo Amicone was born in Antwerp (Belgium) on September 21, 1969.
He studied at: "The Academy of Fine Arts of Rome".
Artistic current: Contemporary genre painting, with characters and deconstructed shapes.
