A propos de l'oeuvre :
The perfectionism of Victor Vasarely imposes an absolute standard of quality that only at that time could be satisfied by the presses of Basel printers.
Thus, between 1971 and 1978, the Griffon editions, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, were entrusted by Victor Vasarely with the realization, distribution and dissemination of 19 albums and 12 serigraphs comprising a survey of his works.
This unique print from a special edition was imagined and supervised by Victor Vasarely himself and it is with the same quality concern that Editions du Griffon gave exceptional care to these series of albums printed in the 1970s, identifiable by the copyright on the back of the prints.
