Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Elysee fountain pen with lacquered body and stainless steel cap, 14.6 cm long and 1.3 cm in diameter, featuring a white gold 14K (750) nib, made in France and dating from 2000–2010, in excellent working order and very well preserved.
Description from the seller
The pen is presented in very good overall condition, notable especially for its imposing lacquer finish on the body and stainless steel on the cap, which preserves an intense mirror-like shine and a highly attractive aesthetic, thanks to the design of its cap.
The body and cap maintain an excellent presence, with light micro-scratches typical of careful use and in keeping with their polished nature, where any minimal contact tends to become visible. No dents, dings, or deformations are observed, keeping its structure and alignment perfectly intact.
Decorative elements, such as the rings and clip, are in very good condition, firm and functional, with no play. The snap-close mechanism operates with precision, offering a secure fit.
The 14K white gold nib (750) is in excellent condition, clean and well preserved, with no visible deformities. The feed is correct and the writing has been tested, offering a smooth and consistent stroke, ready for immediate use.
Overall, it is a very well-preserved piece, with minimal signs of use, ideal for both collection and everyday use.
Care recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. If not in prolonged use, rinse with lukewarm water, dry completely before storing and keep in a dry place, without direct exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently to preserve proper functioning.
