AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

家 XXI - Haus XXI - UNIQUE - 80x100cm

The house is burning beneath a deep evening sky, while an eclipse slowly covers the light above it. The flames rise bright and theatrical, while the garden keeps blooming without a care. Sometimes change arrives without warning. Sometimes the world goes dark while everything around you keeps pretending it is perfectly normal.

WHY WORTH THE PRICE:

Original acrylic artwork on canvas. "HAUS" 2026 series. 100% hand-painted. Gallery estimate: up to €2,000. For collectors, works from the opening year of a new series have a particular significance as they document the collection at its earliest stage. Signed by the artist on the back side with title, year, and the artist's full name. Hand-signed certificate of authenticity with a dry seal included. Characters appear monumental and comical, set against flames and theatrical backgrounds, with Roger's unique sense of humour at play. The lines are bold, the colours vibrant, and the figures sharply defined. Part of creative collaboration with Anna Dart. Shipped carefully rolled (without a frame) in a protective tube for a safe delivery. The artwork might appear differently in photos, depending on the camera settings. Scale is doing real work here as at 1 metre high, the scene takes up a dominant space in your room. Some of the photographs show the painting digitally placed in an interior for reference.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Roger Haus [1984] has been delivering the wow factor in his work for over a decade.
