Article: Mabie Todd & Co Ltd "The Swan Pen" fountain pen model 1512 (Made in England), black ebonite with wave engraving (chased), press cap without clip, knurled ring at the end of the body, engravings "Mabie Todd & Co Ltd" with the swan (Trade Mark), "SWAN" on the body and "1512 TU" on the bottom. Length: 13.7 cm. Diameter: 0.9 cm. Nib: 14 kt gold Swan original with engraving "SWAN"; fine-to-medium line to be confirmed upon testing. Filling system: eyedropper, press cap. Period: approx. 1915-1925 (English manufacture by Mabie Todd & Co Ltd). Materials: black ebonite (hardened rubber) with chased wave pattern, 14 kt gold nib. Condition: very good for its age, ebonite with good luster and engravings perfectly legible, no visible cracks in the photos. Accessories: only the loose piece; no box or papers seen in the photos.
