Enzo Pregno (1898-1972) - Vaso di fiori

Oil painting on the primed canvas by painter Enzo Pregno (Cairo 1898 - Florence 1972). The artist, who worked mainly in Florence, is considered an exponent of European expressionism.
It depicts a vase of flowers in bright colors, on an ash-gray background. Indicatively the painting should date to the 1950s-1960s decade of the 20th century.
Purchased in Florence in the early 1970s, it has remained in a private collection to this day.
The work is sold without a frame on its original stretcher (35 x 50 cm). It is hand-signed in the lower right corner and also on the back of the canvas.
