Enzo Pregno (1898-1972) - Vaso di fiori

Oil painting on canvas by Enzo Pregno (Cairo 1898 - Florence 1972). The artist, who chiefly worked in Florence, is regarded as a European Expressionism exponent. It depicts a vase of flowers with bright colors against a bistro background. Indicatively, the painting should date from the 1950s–1960s. Acquired in Florence in the early 1970s, it has remained in a private collection to date. The work is sold without a frame, on its original stretcher (35 x 50 cm). It is hand-signed in the bottom-right corner and also on the back of the canvas.
