JM ROBERT, Wall, an original, unsigned (signed) street-art work in acrylic and mixed media, 40×30 cm (unframed), France, 2026, depicting an urban landscape in multicolour tones.
Description from the seller
JM ROBERT (French artist, b. 1988)
40 x 30 cm (unframed)
Collection "WALL"
Acrylic, spray, coating, collage ..
— Between urban walls and abstraction
JM ROBERT draws inspiration from the walls of cities, their successive layers, their graffiti, their traces and their wear. His work turns these urban fragments into abstract compositions where material and color seem to accumulate, as on a façade over time.
Paint, signs, spontaneous gestures and impasto build up to create raw, colorful, and deeply contemporary works. Between the energy of graffiti and the freedom of abstraction, JM ROBERT composes a visual language where each layer reveals or conceals the one before.
Thus, his canvases become pieces of imaginary walls: fragments of a city reinterpreted through painting.
