J.S. - J. S. No 520816 - No reserve price - Table lighter - Steel, Plastic

Vintage tabletop lighter shaped like a semi-automatic pistol, inspired by the Colt Combat Commander / MK IV, complete with its display stand bearing the inscription “COLT .45”.

The lighter presents several markings:
- “COMBAT COMMANDER MODEL”
- “MK IV” with the galloping horse symbol
- “AUTOMATIC J.S. NO 520816”
- logo “JS” on both sides of the grip
- plate “C.C.B.”

Particularly interesting is the possibility to historically document this model: an official Portuguese document published in 1993 describes a lighter-pistol with the same markings “Combat Commander Model”, “Automatic JS NO 520816” and “Colt MK IV”, in addition to the same ignition system via trigger and the same plastic display base.

The ignition mechanism has been tested: pulling the trigger regularly produces a spark. At the moment the lighter does not produce flame. No interventions have been carried out and full operation is not guaranteed, so recharging and possible revision are required.

Body mainly metal with plastic parts.

Aesthetic condition: excellent.

Overall dimensions with stand: approximately 13 x 11 x 5 cm.

Interesting collectible display item related to figurative lighters and miniature reproductions of the famous Colt 1911/Combat Commander platform.

Period: late 20th century, model documented at least by 1992-1993.
