Premier Vintage Table Lighter with Enamel in Silver 800 and Resin – Classic Style
Lot Description
Splendid and elegant vintage tabletop lighter of Italian manufacture, dating from the mid-20th century. The body of the piece features an internal structure enclosed by an outer shell in Silver 800, as confirmed by the “800” assay mark regularly impressed on the base.
Aesthetically, the silver displays refined workmanship with details and frames reminiscent of the classical/Florentine style (inspired by lily motifs), enhanced by a magnificent patina of time. The inner structure is made of resin probable/plastic material in ivory/cream color.
The upper ignition mechanism is a classic removable chrome-plated metal insert, bearing the signs of age and wear, as clearly visible in the photographic gallery. The wheel shows wear and rust due to age and use; there is no specific brand identifiable on the mechanical part.
A piece of great elegance, ideal as a luxurious furnishing accessory or desk item.
