1987 Fenix TK-10 R Pacific Blue MIK 1987 guitar with an alder body and maple neck, tested and playable in very good condition and weighing 4.3 kg, made in South Korea, with no extras.
Description from the seller
An quite early production from Young Chang. Impressive and rare Pacific Blue for
this “Squier” copy in solid ash instead of plywood. At the time, Young Chang built the cheaper Squier for Fender and allowed itself to present this under the Fenix label at a trade show in London.
Also body ash, straight maple neck, skunk stripe, fretboard maple (rare, rosewood is usual), the pickguard is apparently not original - here the previous owner upgraded in chrome, which I think suits the Fenix very well. Potentiometers are probably original.
It plays wonderfully and the tone is as twangy as a Tele should be. The neck profile sits between C-D and ensures good playability. The headstock corresponds to that of the Fender Squier, which had to be changed later due to the lawsuit with Fender.
The switch is actually 5-way, but only 4 positions are installed. Overall a great piece of Guitar History.
Will be carefully packed in a guitar shipping carton and shipped with DHL, 15.00 Euro in Germany, further prices see list EU and Other.
Attention: When shipping abroad, in some countries the buyer may incur fees and import duties!
