Fenix ST-10 R Vintage Cream White MIK 1987, alder‑wood guitar manufactured in 1987 in South Korea, weighing 4.3 kg, sold as a single item with no extras, in very good physical condition and functionally tested and playable.
Description from the seller
One of the early solid alder "Fenix" Stratocasters from Young Chang. Beautiful, aging Cream White with the years. Actually, Young Chang was at that time a contractor for Fender, he had taken over the Squier production.
Description:
Solid alder body, straight maple neck, rosewood fretboard, white 3-layer pickguard, the pots may still be from Japanese stock, as these are large pots; later smaller ones were used. The single coils are indeed equipped with block magnets, but otherwise not provided with the thin underfoil that is common later. Most importantly: the guitar has a very balanced Strat tone. The neck has a medium C-profile, which benefits playability. 5-way switch (end cap missing), bolt-on neck.
The headstock clearly has the nice Fender shape, which unfortunately 2–3 years later ended up in a not-so-nice version. So: great vintage guitar in top condition.
Carefully packed in a guitar shipping carton and sent with DHL, 15.00 euros in Germany, further prices see EU and Other lists.
Attention: When shipping abroad, in some countries fees and import duties may be charged to the buyer!
