Description from the seller
Langhe DOC Nebbiolo, an excellent red wine produced by the Borgogno winery, is made from a selection of Nebbiolo grapes grown in the five most renowned crus owned by the company. This label represents a successful attempt to innovate the philosophy of this production company in the Langhe, while remaining faithful to tradition. It is obtained from only Nebbiolo grapes, which reach the perfect level of ripeness by virtue of the climatic conditions and the characteristics of the substrate of these hills. The work in the vineyard is limited to what is strictly necessary, so that the plants can grow in an optimal ecosystem. Once the bunches have been harvested with the utmost rigor, the grapes are subjected to traditional vinification. After maceration on the skins, the wine rests for a minimum period of ten months in large Slavonian oak barrels. Langhe DOC Nebbiolo is a wine for special occasions, perfect to enjoy after a few years of rest in the cellar.
