Giorgio Toccaceli, born in Castelfidardo, Italy, 1954. He has a background as a cartoonist for newspapers, participated in the International Cartoon Museum of Tolentino, and in the Biennial of Humor. His art has spread through exhibitions dedicated to him, such as “Diving into Color” or “Hidden in the Canvas,” the latter taking its name from his famous signature, that of drawing himself inside his paintings. His playful inspiration, which draws smiles, exudes sweetness and makes you reflect. His caricatures and his paintings are capable of “immortalizing” in the same gesture the feelings, virtues, and vices of an entire community, contextualizing them and offering a sarcastic, yet always delicate, glimpse of society itself. Giorgio Toccaceli's art is in constant flux and moves with flair among varied graphic lines, adapting to the times without chasing them.
