Osmia Supra Progress 194 F fountain pen made in Germany circa 1935–1939, in black and gold marbled celluloid with a 14K/585 gold nib (F) and the Osmia Progress vacuum pump filling system, length 11 cm and diameter 1 cm, in good working condition with minor signs of aging.
Description from the seller
Vintage Osmia Supra Progress 194 F fountain pen, Germany, circa 1935–1939.
An attractive and relatively uncommon pre-war Osmia fountain pen in black and gold marbled celluloid, fitted with an original 14-carat gold nib.
The pen belongs to Osmia’s Progress series. Unlike conventional piston fillers, the Progress models use Osmia’s unusual Vacuumpumpenfüllung: a pump/diaphragm filling system introduced during the 1930s and based on a principle similar to the Parker Vacumatic system. The Supra Progress 194 is specifically documented with this type of filling mechanism.
