Philippe Hiquily (1925-2013) - Sculpture, Epicurienne - 16 cm - Steel

Philippe HIQUILY – Épicurienne

Elegant sculpture in black metal, l’Épicurienne embodies all the sensuality and poetry of Philippe Hiquily’s universe.
Created in 2010, this work is presented as the artist’s ultimate sculpture and echoes his famous Marathonienne. In response to the energy of movement, here a serene and nonchalant attitude, imbued with gentleness.
This female figure captivates with its generous curves and its singular silhouette, where geometric shapes form a subtle game of balance.
This 16 cm edition captures the presence of the work in a collectible format. Its elegance and character make it a representative piece of Hiquily’s sculptural language.
