Description from the seller
In this lot one of the iconic skulls by the Mexican artist Carlos del Bravo is presented. The work on skulls has characterized his entire body of work since his beginnings in Mexico, with his arrival in Italy in Pietrasanta in 2015. Del Bravo completes his training by learning and refining the sculptural techniques typical of the Italian tradition. From the fusion of these two cultures, Del Bravo's works are born, and he personally creates all of his pieces without assistants. All of his works are unique pieces.

2006: enrolls in the Antonio Segoviano de León Gto art institute
2007: collaborates with artist Alfi Vibern of Brazil at the International Biennale of Sculptures in León Gto. 2007
2008: works as a model maker and trainer in Trinitate and ceramists united, Renaissance of the Trinidad group in Santana del Conde Gto.
2009: works as an assistant to Master Gustavo Aceves in Comanjilla Gto.
2012: moves to the city of Pietrasanta as a developer of sculptural techniques in Maestro Gustavo Aceves’ Lapidarium project
2026: currently works as sculptor, educator, restorer at two lakes, collaborating with artists such as Antonio Mastromarino, Eleonora Francioni, Giulio Galgani and others, while continuing his project Eros y tanatos
