AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Otto Niemeyer-Holstein (1896–1984) – Mädchenporträt – Auflage 1/5 – signiert
Description
Rare and expressive original print by Otto Niemeyer-Holstein, one of the most important representatives of German Expressionism.
The work shows an intense portrait of a girl, shaped by a reduced formal language, strong chiaroscuro, and an intensive psychological presence. The expressive line work and the deliberately rough print texture give the depiction great emotional depth. Notably, the exceptionally small edition of only five copies (1/5) makes this sheet a rarity for collectors.

Edition: 1/5
