AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
We present the Marlen Aderl collection.
Atella, an ancient city of Campania, halfway between Capua and Naples, rose on a natural terrace, largely in the current town of Sant’Arpino (where Marlen has its headquarters, production, and showroom), and maintained its own administrative autonomy, minting its own coins with the inscription ADERL.
In Atella, Marlen dedicates this numbered edition, made in light brown Italian resin, with silver and metal details. The hood (cap) is made of black resin with multicolor bands, on which the 925 silver band bears the Latin inscription “ORDO POPULUSQUE ATELLANUS” in relief at the top/bottom. The clip depicts the profile of Maccus, one of the most important figures from the Fabulae Atellanae, an ancient Roman farce with fixed masks (e.g., Buccus, Dossennus, Maccus, Pappus, ...) and a raw-spirit.
