In this dedicated portfolio of Gabriele Dell’Otto’s art, presented on the occasion of the artist’s exhibition held in Rome in October 2004 at Spazio Corto Maltese.
The folder contains 10 unpublished drawings by Gabriele Dell’Otto, reproduced in lithographic printing on Fedrigoni Tintoretto paper, dedicated to some of the most famous monsters and characters of fantasy literature and horror:
- Dracula
- The Mummy
- The Invisible Man
- The Werewolf
- The Golem
- Cthulhu
- Dorian Gray
- Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde
- The Creature from the Black Lagoon
- Frankenstein
The publication is enhanced by an introductory text by Jim Lee, with the corresponding signature reproduced, in which Dell’Otto’s particular ability to fuse energy, dynamism, painting and the plastic rendering of figures is emphasized.
The colophon specifies a edition of 120 copies signed and numbered, our copy no. 64/120, with the autograph of Gabriele Dell’Otto on the colophon and on the 10 prints!
