The Rome collection features a clip deliberately designed to replicate the splendor of ancient marble columns. The cap and the barrel of these writing instruments are handcrafted, in blue Italian resin, turned from solid stock. The large ring on the barrel reproduces a panoramic view of the Colosseum and the Capitoline Wolf (bronze sculpture, of uncertain dating, housed in the Capitoline Museums), a symbol of the city.
