AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
We present the Marlen Vanity Collection
Vanity is a collection of pens that blends elegance and tradition, enriched with a lucky charm horn, an iconic symbol of Neapolitan culture. This collection is not merely a writing instrument, but a celebration of luck and positivity, perfect for anyone who wants to bring a touch of magic into daily life, whatever path they take, the adventure they begin, the choice they make.
The collection is made in fine Italian resin and stands out for the pen’s cylindrical clip, from which a red coral ball twists off to reveal the horn hidden inside, turning a simple accessory into a personal amulet. According to legend, the Neapolitan horn represents the phallus of Priapus, the God of Prosperity, whom the Greeks believed protected against bad luck.
The horn symbol has been considered a good omen since the Neolithic era due to its phallic shape, making it a emblem of fertility, virility, and physical strength. However, not all horns are talismans. To truly work and perform its amuletic function, the horn must have specific characteristics. It must be sturdy, twisted, and with a tip—that is, rigid, twisted, and pointed. It must also be made of coral, hence the vivid, bright red color. Coral is chosen because it represents a highly valued stone, whose power is to keep misfortune away. The Neapolitan horn, when given as a gift, enhances its protective functions.
Vanity is the new way to gift the quintessential lucky symbol, a small secret between the giver and the recipient.
