The photograph bridges to a milestone in German rock and film history: On April 17, 1980, Udo Lindenberg’s political satire “Panische Zeiten” celebrated its cinema premiere. In the comedy, Lindenberg himself directed and played a dual role. The film possessed great social relevance and, in addition to performances by the Pan Orchestra and artists such as Karl Dall, even featured a cameo by then-Juso leader Gerhard Schröder. In 2005 the work was digitally remastered and re-released in the official Signature Collection – exactly from this phase comes this striking motif.
A historically grounded, artist-signed piece of time history for any discerning music and art collection!
