Roger Mühl, born December 20, 1929 in Strasbourg, died April 4, 2008 in Mougins, was a French painter, draftsman and sculptor.
He entered the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Strasbourg, from which he left in 1948 to move to the Belfort region. He settled in 1954 in Montreux-Château and made his first Paris exhibition at the Galerie de Paris in 1960. Then in Geneva, London, Milan, Dallas, Cologne, Stuttgart, Tokyo, Kyoto, Belfort and New York. He mainly worked on the Côte d'Azur. He was considered a figurative painter, a painter of Provence and its landscapes, above all a painter of light and atmosphere; impastos served his technique to establish the perspectives suggested by color alone.
