Description from the seller
Montegrappa - Bolshoy Theatre - (Limited Edition P/825) (ISCONRR4)
The Montegrappa Tribute to Ballet rollerball pen, a very rare and limited edition with only 825 pieces ever produced, is a highly coveted collectors item. Created to celebrate the 230th anniversary of the Bolshoi Ballet Theatre in Moscow, this pen honors the rich history and elegance of one of the worlds most renowned ballet companies.
Drawing inspiration from the neoclassical architecture of the Bolshoi Theatre, the pens sterling silver barrel features intricate low-relief engravings of the theatres iconic facade, including its grand portico, eight supporting columns, and Apollos quadriga, symbolizing the arts. The decorative motifs are based on the theatres ceiling vault, with a lyre at the center, further connecting the pen to the world of music and dance.
This special edition features a precious pearl white resin cap, section, and end cap, adding a striking visual contrast that captures the passion, emotion, and movement of ballet. The cap band presents a pair of dancers in elegant silhouette, standing out beautifully against the white resin and sterling silver finish.
This particular example is a prototype, making it even more unique and desirable. Unlike the final numbered editions, prototypes are extremely rare and were never available on the general market, adding exceptional exclusivity to this already limited creation.
Limited to just 825 pieces worldwide, the Tribute to Ballet is a timeless homage to the beauty of ballet and the Bolshois artistic legacy, and the prototype status of this piece makes it truly one of a kind.
Condition and Guarantee
The pen comes with a two-year guarantee from LAB22, ensuring full confidence in its authenticity and performance.
Shipping
Your purchase will be shipped the same day via an express carrier, carefully packaged to ensure safe and fast delivery.
A remarkable opportunity to own a unique Montegrappa prototype celebrating one of the greatest cultural institutions in the world.
