For sale: A rare and authorized posthumous silver gelatin print of the iconic self-portrait by the world-renowned American surrealist Man Ray (1890–1976). It concerns the globally sought-after image "Self-Portrait with Studio Camera" from circa 1932, in which the master photographer applied the solarisation technique.
This copy was issued in 1991 in a limited edition by the prestigious German art association Griffelkunst-Vereinigung (Hamburg). The print is hand-made on high-quality baryta paper directly from the original negative under the supervision of the legendary master printer Pierre Gassmann (Paris).
The work is in excellent condition and is professionally framed with a wide white passe-partout in a sleek black gallery frame. Directly ready for collection or to hang on the wall.
