Montblanc - Montblanc 149 / 75 Years of Passion for Writing (1924–1999) - No reserve price - Fountain pen

The fountain pen is in excellent condition, with an overall very clean and well-preserved finish!

The body and cap head made of black resin maintain a deep, uniform shine, without cracks, breaks or structural deformations.

On visual inspection, extremely slight microscopic surface markings can be seen, attributable to careful use or occasional handling, and visible only under direct light, without any aesthetic impairments overall.

The gold-plated attributes (clip, rings, and details) retain an intense, uniform gold, with no material loss or significant wear.

The cone ring bearing the engraving “75 Years of Passion for Writing” is clear and fully legible, the diamond firmly in place, with no play or visible damage.

The Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap is complete, well-centered, and in excellent condition. The cap closure system and the piston mechanism operate smoothly and precisely, indicating proper maintenance.

The fountain pen, made of 18-carat solid gold, with the special engraving of the 75 Years edition, is well-aligned, clean, and free of deformations, with a intact nib and no signs of unusual wear.

The ink flow guide is correct, without accumulations or visible damage.

It comes with the original Montblanc case, in good preserved condition, with normal storage and age marks and without a label.

In summary, this is a very well-preserved specimen, suitable for both discerning daily use and for a collection, especially due to the commemorative edition with diamond setting, which is increasingly appreciating on the market.
