Description from the seller
1995 Ducati 916SP - 401st - only 11,871 km - Model 1995 - First registration 1995
We have for many years specialized in Ducati Tamburini 916 - 996 - 998 models with low mileage in collector condition. Here as well we are very proud to offer you this impressive Ducati 916 SP in its original condition, which is hardly found on the market anymore. Except with us, as we currently have two, take a look at our other auctions as well. As long as they are online.
This 916 SP 1995 generation was limited worldwide to only 401 units. Of those, after almost 30 years, probably only about half still exist.
It comes directly from a German Ducati collector.
This is a pure sunshine bike, no rain, it is accident-free and upright. A dream for every true collector and an investment for every connoisseur. It has increased in value steadily in recent years.
It has matching numbers with the frame and engine numbers. The bike runs fantastically and the engine is top.
Currently installed are the racing Termignoni carbon exhausts (with retrofitted DB-EATER).
The original 916SP aluminum pair of tailpipes with street approval is included, even if not visible in the pictures.
As well as the owner's manual, see pictures.
What is very rare for this model is that the 916SP certificates are also present. This was unfortunately not provided with every model at the time.
Two original 916SP keys with gold logos are also included, not visible in the pictures.
SERVICE NEW:
- Timing belt NEW
- Oil - Shell 15w50 NEW
- Oil filter NEW
- Coolant NEW

We left the currently installed tires from 2014 on the bike since we assume it will find a place in a collection again. They are visually still in good condition.
Chassis No.: ZDM916S*005100
Engine No.: ZDM916W4*005349
First reg.: 25.09.1995
916 cc
128 hp
IMPORTANT:
With the last pictures, we want to point out the light paint defects on the front wheel. There are three spots marked with small blue arrows. The rear wheel has nothing. The right lower fairing has been replaced at some point with another original Ducati 916 from a newer year. The original color matches. The old lower fairing had minor stress cracks from the bottom. Otherwise the bike is in a dreamy original condition! It looks fantastic!
The vehicle is still in the original paint in the areas of the rear, tank, and side panels. It has virtually no stone chips. We assume these were professionally repaired with Smart Repair at some point, as we have rarely seen such a perfect condition with a mileage approaching 12,000 km.
The front fairing also looks perfect as one would wish. We assume the upper area of the front fairing was repainted with Smart Repair. It also has no stone chips. In terms of condition, it is the best model we have had so far with a mileage over 10,000 km.
Viewing by appointment possible.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
