Title: Two Golden Moons
Dimensions: 70x50 cm
Year: 2023
Skedro is a contemporary artist whose research focuses on the representation of identity as a process in continuous transformation. Through fragmented faces, stratified chromatic structures, and gestural and material painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be rebuilt, where mark, color, and matter interweave to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects on the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive, but always in becoming.

NB: The work will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors that come to life on the canvas.
