Title: The Announcement
Dimensions: 70x50 cm
Year: 2024
Skedro is a contemporary artist whose research focuses on representing identity as a continuously transforming process. Through fragmented faces, layered chromatic structures, and gestural, tactile painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be rebuilt, where mark, colour, and matter intertwine to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects on the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive, but always in becoming.

In person, artworks are more beautiful than in photography: you can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
