Johnny Friedlaender – Original Graphic Work
Johnny Friedlaender (1912–1992) was a renowned Franco-Austrian artist and one of the important figures in 20th-century European modern printmaking. His works are known for their distinctive abstract language, combining graphic lines, geometric forms and carefully balanced areas of colour.
This expressive work presents a characteristic composition of abstract geometric and organic forms, predominantly in black, white and green, with touches of brown and red. The layered symbols, circles, lines and textured marks create a fascinating interplay between structure and spontaneity.
