Splendid and rare S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 collectible lighter, part of the prestigious Limited Edition "Art Nouveau" released in 1993.
This model was produced in only 4,000 numbered pieces worldwide; the item for sale is number 0672 / 4000.
Main features:
Materials: Solid brass body with yellow gold finish and plating.
Decoration:
Gorgeous geometric and sinuous inlays in precious and authentic black Chinese lacquer (Laque de Chine), certified by the stamp with a leaf on the base.
Design:
Elegant lines inspired by the Art Nouveau artistic movement of the late 19th century.
Authenticity guaranteed:
All trademarks and serial numbers are hand-engraved on the bottom (not laser-etched), testifying to authenticity and the original French craftsmanship (Made in France).
Condition of the item:
The lighter is fully functional and features the classic sharp "cling" sound when opening the cap. Aesthetically it is in generally excellent condition, with minor signs of wear due to time that do not compromise its beauty (the lacquer and plating are intact, see detailed photos).
