Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas from the collection.
Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Sovrek and with the Gallery stamp.
Title: The Shadow of Introspection
Dimensions: 70x50 cm
Year: 2025
Sovrek is a contemporary artist who investigates the human face as an emotional and symbolic space. Through layered and vibrant painting, his figures emerge from chromatic fragments that dissolve traditional identity to reveal deeper inner states. Color becomes narrative matter, capable of transforming the figure into a psychological presence rather than a representation. Sovrek's works sit in a dialogue between figuration and abstraction, where the heritage of classical painting meets a contemporary sensibility, creating images suspended between tension, vulnerability and introspection.

NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
