The Stilografica Omas "Guglielmo Marconi" was produced in a Limited Edition in 1995 to celebrate the Centenary of the Invention of the Radio (1895/1995) as a tribute to the brilliant Italian inventor, pioneer of wireless telecommunications. The body is made of fine blue resin with yellow-gold plated fittings. Symbolic is the clip designed to reproduce a telegraph key. Also the cap ring bears the acronym "QSL" which in the transmission code means "I have received the message." On the two-tone 18Kt gold nib are inscribed the gold fineness, the centennial and a design depicting the propagation of radio waves. Filling via piston. Closed dimensions: 14 cm. The fountain pen is presented with a generic Omas box visible in the photos. The pen's conditions are excellent, probably never inked or rarely used.
