This limited edition bottling, at 47.8% ABV, embodies the quintessential "Ardbeg Paradox"—the perfect balance between smoky intensity and sweet complexity.

Unicorn 10 years, 46%, 700ml

Einhorn is a heavily smoky blended malt scotch whiskey (40 ppm) with a delicate sherry barrel influence. The taste was designed by Whisky.de in a creative process. The Islay and Speyside malts were each aged in oak barrels for ten years. We created the unicorn whiskey from these partly smoky and partly sherry barrel matured whiskeys. Nose: Intense medicinal smoke after a campfire and peat embers. This is followed by notes of seaweed, vanilla and caramel.
Taste: Oily and soft with a delicate sweetness and strong smoke. This is followed by slightly bitter oak, vanilla and caramel.
Finish: Medium long and smoky as well as persistently spicy.
