Montegrappa made this exclusive limited edition in 1995 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s classic Italian tragedy also as an innovative, his-and-hers package. The intricate decoration in sterling silver is set off by the designs of the historic period in which the story is set. The collection included 3,500 fountain pens in sterling silver. This set has the matching nrs. 1651. The pen dedicated to the romantic Romeo has an octagonal shape, whereas the one inspired from Juliet's beauty and charm is cylindrical.
