In the midst of the gripping Bundestag election campaign of 2005, shortly before Angela Merkel's inauguration as the first female Chancellor, Udo Lindenberg released this charming and much-noted political satire. The artwork he designed himself shows the famous ironic motif, where Udo and “Angie” sit comfortably on a red sofa and toast to the “Bunte Republik.”

The rare maxi-CD has long been out of print in regular retail and is regarded as a sought-after piece of memorabilia. The cover has been elegantly preserved here in a passepartout and showcased in a contrasting white frame.
