About the work:
Vasarely’s perfectionism imposes an absolute quality standard that, at that time, only the prowess of Basel printers’ presses could satisfy.
Thus, between 1971 and 1978, Editions du Griffon, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, were entrusted by Victor Vasarely with the realization, distribution and diffusion of 19 albums and 12 screen prints comprising a survey of his works.
This unique print from a portfolio was imagined and supervised by Victor Vasarely himself, and with the same concern for quality Editions du Griffon gave exceptional care to these series of albums printed in the 1970s, identifiable by the copyright on the back of the impressions.
