Viktoria Farkas's Duality is a 50 × 75 cm digital print (Edition 1, date of print 2026), signed and in extremely fine condition, a Dibond-mounted glossy print ready to hang, one-of-a-kind and sold direct from the artist.
AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Duality explores the tension between the Manhattan skyline and its reflection on the water. The upper half is sharp and constructed: towers of glass and steel beneath a sky of dramatic clouds. The lower half repeats the same city in a soft, blurred, almost dreamlike form. Reality and reflection, solid and fluid, the seen and the imagined exist side by side, and the image asks which one is the "real" city.
This work is also personal to me: it was the first of my images to be exhibited as a winner. It was awarded Top Photo Winner and shown at Modeka Gallery in Manila, the Philippines, from 15 to 19 April 2022.
Glossy laminated photographic print mounted on Dibond (aluminium composite panel), size 50 × 75 cm. Dibond consists of a polyethylene core between two aluminium sheets, which makes it lightweight, extremely rigid and resistant to warping over time. The glossy lamination deepens the colours, enhances contrast and protects the surface from scratches and moisture.
The piece is unframed and arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanging plate attached to the back.
A one-of-a-kind piece: this image exists as a Dibond-mounted print in this size (50 × 75 cm) as a single copy only, and no more will be produced. The back carries a label with the title and the artist's handwritten signature.

Seller's Story
From Office Files to Times Square: My Journey in Light
Hello, I am Viktoria Farkas. My artistic journey is proof that it is never too late to reinvent yourself. Until recently, I was working in an office environment, but in 2020, I embarked on a life-changing adventure to the United States. My mission was twofold: to master a new language and to dive deep into the world of photography.
Trading my office chair for a camera, New York City became my classroom. I had the privilege of learning from renowned masters like Lindsay Adler and connecting with professionals like Norbi Bánhalmi. What started as a search for new possibilities quickly turned into a true calling.
My breakthrough moment came when one of my photographs was selected by the Art Square NY gallery to be displayed on a giant billboard in Times Square—a long way from the office files where I started. This passion has taken me from hunting for lighthouses in Maine to chasing waterfalls in Watkins Glen, eventually leading to the publication of my visual autobiography, "Lens and Life," featuring my 100 favorite black-and-white images.
Today, based in Budapest but available worldwide, photography is more than just a skill for me—it is my true love language and the way I connect with the world.
