Rare vintage cigarette mouthpiece, made of Bakelite with a hand-painted central metal element, preserved in its original box.
The mouthpiece features a characteristic elongated, faceted shape, typical of the Art Deco taste. Particularly refined is the central band, decorated in red, pink, gray and black tones. The composition is completed by gold profiles and geometric motifs that emphasize the decorative character of the object.
The Bakelite, of intense color, under strong light shows some brownish-red transparencies, especially visible on the upper part.
The piece is accompanied by its original rigid case, externally red and internally light fabric-lined. Inside, the gold-pressed inscription with the wording "FABRICATION PARISIENNE" is still present, an interesting element that links the object's presentation to Parisian/French production.
A refined accessory for smoking of the era, interesting both as a collectible item and as an example of French decorative arts of the Art Deco period.
Good overall condition considering its age.
