Description from the seller

I am offering a beautiful multi‑color woodcut print depicting the city of Istanbul, created by Turkish artist Sukran Ulucan in 2010 on the occasion of the exhibition “Italy-Turkey, Dialogue Between Cultures” in Lecce. The print is a prestigious limited edition of only 4 impressions, of which this is no. 2/4 and the only one from this series in my possession. The work is framed with plexiglass and a white trim and ready to hang. It will be shipped together with the catalog and all documentation.

ŞÜKRAN ULUCAN was born in Antalya, Turkey. She completed higher studies in Odemis, Izmir. She earned a degree from the Faculty of Educational Sciences in Izmir in the Department of Art. Her main field is graphic arts. Her works have been included in special and official collections and catalogs of national and foreign countries. Additionally, she has a catalog based on the concept of Izmir and Istanbul. Her works have been accepted as artworks by the Commission for the Determination of Works under the direction of the Smyrna Museum of Art and Sculpture. She has twenty-one solo exhibitions to her name and has participated in more than fifty national and international competitions and group exhibitions worldwide.
