Description from the seller
Roderich Paesold – 12-String – Made in Holland – Vintage
This Roderich Paesold 12-string guitar is a characteristic vintage instrument from the brand’s Dutch production period. Roderich Paesold is originally a German manufacturer of string instruments and bows, but in the 70s and 80s the name was also used for a range of guitars produced in the Netherlands. The guitar production was, among others, handled by Egmond/Tolchin Instruments in Best and Boxtel. egmond.se
The 12-string Paesold guitars are now interesting vintage instruments. Several historic examples are known, including the P230 12-string, documented as Made in Holland from the 1970s.
General description
This model features a classical dreadnought-like body and is equipped with 12 steel strings. The large soundbox combined with the double strings delivers the characteristic full and spacious tone that is so beloved in 12-string guitars.
The guitar is in its original condition. Only the truss rod cover is missing & the pickguard is not standard.
Current setup: the action at the 12th fret is about 3 mm, which for a 12-string vintage guitar is a neat and playable setup.
