Description from the seller
Egmond Classical – Vintage Nylon String – Made in Holland
This Egmond classical guitar is an authentic example of early Dutch guitar building. The instrument features a traditional classical construction with nylon strings, a wide fretboard, and a distinctive decorative rosette around the soundhole.
Egmond began in the 1930s with the production of, among other things, classical and Spanish guitars. After World War II, the company grew strongly and large numbers of affordable guitars were produced. In the 1950s and 1960s, Egmond grew into one of the largest guitar manufacturers in Europe.
General description
This model has a classic Spanish body shape with a wide nylon-string fretboard.
Over the years, the instrument has clearly lived. The heavily worn finish, signs of use and patina give the guitar a very authentic vintage look. The original appearance has largely been preserved, making this an interesting specimen for enthusiasts of early Dutch guitars.
It features an adjustable neck via the well-known Egmond adjustment pin.
Carefully packaged & shipped quickly.
