Vintage S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 Large pocket lighter, made in France and decorated with the iconic Diamond Head / Pointe de Diamant guilloché pattern.
The lighter features the characteristic highly textured diamond-patterned body and lid, combined with ribbed detailing around the sides and mechanism. The base is clearly stamped “S.T. Dupont – PARIS – MADE IN FRANCE” and carries the individual serial number 387146 together with the S.T. Dupont maker’s hallmark.
The seller describes the lighter as gold plated and dates the model to the 1970s. The lighter is reported to be fully functional, holding gas correctly, producing a stable and adjustable flame and closing properly. The characteristic S.T. Dupont opening “cling” is also present.
The lighter shows visible signs of age and use, including surface scratches and patina. There is also a small dent on the lower rear corner, visible in the photographs. These marks are part of the item’s vintage condition and have not been cosmetically concealed.
The lighter is accompanied by its original red S.T. Dupont Paris presentation box. Please note that the inner lining/inner lid of the box is missing. The remaining original box is included and is shown in the photographs.
