AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Urban Grid is an aerial fine art photograph taken in Athens, Greece. The image shows the city perfectly viewed from above, revealing a dense and orderly urban structure, composed of blocks of buildings, intersecting streets, roofs and repeated architectural shapes.
From this perspective, the city takes on an almost abstract character: a precise grid of lines, shadows and geometries. The orange details, including the central architectural element and the sports field, create a lively focal point within the more neutral tones of the surrounding buildings.
The photograph explores the rhythm and order of the urban landscape. The streets divide the city into regular blocks, while roofs, balconies and terraces build a complex visual texture. Seen from above, everyday architecture becomes a graphical composition made of structure, color and repetition.
This work is part of Sara Zanini's aerial photography series, dedicated to patterns, urban geometries, man-made landscapes and the relationship between architecture and visual order.
An impactful aerial view, in which the city becomes a mosaic of shapes, streets and colors. The image blends documentary urban photography with a minimalist fine art approach, transforming Athens into a refined study of geometry, density and rhythm.
