"Butacón en el invernadero" is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García.

The work represents a bright greenhouse converted into a resting space, presided over by a large armchair made of natural fibers with upholstery in coral and red tones. Yellow cushions and a blue fabric intensify the chromatic character of the scene, while abundant tropical vegetation surrounds the seat and transforms the interior into a small domestic refuge.

The composition is organized by the geometric and glazed structure of the greenhouse, whose white lines contrast with the organic silhouettes of monsteras, palms, orchids and other plants. In the foreground, a rug decorated with botanical motifs in blue, orange and red visually extends the play of shapes and colors of the interior garden.

The palette combines light blues and turquoise with deep greens, yellows, corals, reds and oranges. The use of flat, intense colors, the simplification of shapes and the prominence of vegetation show affinities with Fauvism and with Henri Matisse’s decorative tradition, where interiors, plants, textiles and furniture are integrated into a single visual experience.
