"The Green Chair" is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García.

The work depicts a domestic interior built from an intense combination of color and geometry. In the center of the composition, a green chair with a red seat becomes the absolute protagonist, placed in front of a crimson wall and on a floor made of small multicolored tiles.

The perspective of the space, slightly altered, guides the eye toward the chair and toward the various architectural openings. A green door ajar and two windows introduce small views of the exterior, creating an interesting dialogue between interior and landscape. Reds, greens, yellows, blues and oranges are distributed through large color fields and strong complementary contrasts.
