For sale is a very well-maintained Honda Gold Wing GL1500 from 1993 in classic red with gold decorative lines.
The machine was comprehensively technically and optically overhauled a few years ago and has since only covered about 3,500 km. As part of the work, numerous technical components were renewed or overhauled. The Gold Wing today presents itself in very good condition and preserves the typical character of this large Japanese touring motorcycle.
The smooth-running six-cylinder engine, the large touring fairing, the comfortable seating arrangement and the extensive luggage system make the Gold Wing one of the best-known and most comfortable long-distance motorcycles of its time.
In the course of the technical and optical refurbishment, the following work was carried out among others:
- Timing belt and tensioners renewed
- Alternator renewed
- Clutch slave cylinder replaced
- extensive maintenance work performed
- stainless steel trailer hitch mounted
- LED headlight
- LCD display renewed
In June 2020, the front tire, the front brake pads, and the front brake disc were also renewed. Since the replacement, these components have covered only about 40 km. New rear brake pads are available and will be included with the motorcycle.
Since these works, the Gold Wing has not been ridden and has been stored dry.
The installed stainless steel trailer hitch enables the use of a suitable motorcycle trailer. A corresponding trailer is available and can be purchased additionally on request.
